A Thinksheet is an opportunity for a reader to reflect on what he or she has read. Students will complete one Thinksheet for each reading deadline.

Please answer the following questions in complete sentences and paragraphs when needed.
1. In paragraph form (6-9 sentences), provide a summary of this section of reading.
2. List three archetypes (10th grade) or 3 symbols (9th Grade) from your book. Be sure to explain them thoroughly.
3. Connect your life to a character or event from the book: What do you have in common? Clearly explain the connection in a detailed paragraph.
4. Describe the setting of your book using details. Provide as much information as possible. (Think about: month, year, season, specific location, weather, historical events, etc.)
5. In chronological order, list 5 major events that happen during the novel and their significance to the novel.
6. List the names of three major characters and four minor characters below. Provide a brief physical description of each.
7. Look at the characters you listed as major characters above. Which of these characters do you think are static characters? Which are dynamic characters? (Look up the definitions if you need). Explain your answers for each.
8. Would you recommend this book to others? Why or why not? Explain your opinion using 3 examples in a well-developed paragraph.
